The Night the Stars Came Out to Shine Ever since I was invited to cover this show I had been overwhelmed with excitement to attend. Firstly to be back in Durban amongst friends who have since begun to feel more like family. I thought this was apt as I was returning with my very own family for their first experience of a bodybuilding show. It seemed my week leading up to my flight out on Friday the 7th August couldn’t have gone fast enough, both for myself and my daughter Maya who when I arrived home each day after work would run up to me screaming “Daddy!   Click to read the show report Here we go Juniors Under 23 3rd Michael Wood Michael had a well-balanced physique. His legs slightly dominate his upper body I felt but nothing that can’t be fixed with time. A bit more back thickness all through and upper body development to get on par then he could put on mass all round to fill out. On the night he was a bit smooth and should have been a lot dryer to compete for the number one spot. 2nd Khawulani Mazibuko Khawulani had a bit more of an aesthetically pleasing physique than Michael. He was also tighter and looked fuller which is what I felt gave him the second spot. 1st Tyronne du Toit Tyronne presented the best overall package on the night. It was great to see a junior that seemed to have focused on condition more than mass and this showed as he posed and got a bit tighter. ...
